Our home ground is located 2km outside Thomastown on the Dublin Road

Over the past ten years, we have developed the playing area, car park and dressing rooms to make the ground one of the best in the south-east.

The complex was officially opened in July 2001 by the FAI President, Mr. Milo Corcoran and Mr. Liam Aylward TD.

In 2004, we invested in additional land adjacent to our existing grounds and approx 10 acres of land which houses 4 pitches, training areas, a car park and changing rooms for four teams and officials.

In March 2007, the club realised a long time ambition, and over five years of work, by finally constructing floodlit all-weather training areas. The two pitches will be be used by all club members for training and will also be available to other clubs and societies and the general public to rent.

The facility was built with funding assistance from the 2006 Sports Capital Programme run by the Department of Sports, Arts and Tourism, and the 2006 Recreational Capital Fund run by Kilkenny County Council. Thorntons Ireland were selected to construct the pitches and the work took approximately 10 weeks from start to finish.

Each pitch is 35m x 23m and can facilitate 5-a-side or 6-a-side games. Each pitch costs €50 per hour to rent, or €400 in advance for 10 weeks. If floodlighting is not required, these rates are €40 per hour, or €300 in advance for 10 weeks.

To book the pitches, please call 085 1535565.

In 2010, the club decided to purchase additional adjacent land to faciliate the re-positioning of two proposed sand based pitches and a full size all-weather pitch. These developments, when completed, will enable the club to achieve the FAI standard for Regional Centre of Excellence status.
